It's the little things that made today
the medical student's version of a
"glorious day of surgery".
It's when your surgeon consultant,
(other than not ignoring you and actually taught you)
called you by your difficult-to-pronounce name,
made a point to involve you in every way,
making sure you get your turn of seeing everything,
actually interested in your background/interests/life,
and at the end of the day,
welcomed you wholeheartedly
to work with him in the future.
Oh, it's a glorious day of surgery indeed!
