Put "1" in the Box

Today,
I felt a tad bit more adult-like,
or more important,
for I voted
for the first time in my life.

It's hard to believe
that this was my first,
despite approaching quarter-life mark.

So yes,
I felt older.

And it's oh so weird
feeling older.
