Few more months.

Very often, you get caught up amidst the busy life, and you forget the little things that matter.

Until your patient specifically requested you,
a mere medical student, not one of the doctors,
to re-iterate and explain things to her and her family.

And I was so busy having a taste of how life would be in the next 2 years, that I nearly missed this significant moment.

Must remind myself: 

To stop and reflect everyday.

Lazy sunny morning.

I spent the late morning

sitting in my backyard

under the warm sun. 

At a leisurely pace,

had breakfast,

read the newspaper,

and then

just laze on the chair

having a little nap.

Man!! 

This is what life's about!

Another thing to remind myself always. =)

I'm always amazed by motivated doctors
who always try to do the right thing,
even if it's little thing like this.

(Although safe handover is actually not that little.)

And so I wonder,
would I be one of those
in the near future?
