Selamat Makan

Sometimes, I miss the phone calls that start with:

"你吃饱了没?"
(Hokkien)

or

"你几时返来吃饭?"
(Cantonese)

Circles

The sushi on the belt go round and round,
round and round,
round and round,
the sushi on the belt go round and round,
all day long.

Cold Steel

Skybridge Petronas Twin Towers

What if
I walk through the beautiful park,
reach the glorious ground floor,
take the double-decker lift,
zoom up 50 levels of offices,
sit in front of my computer,
occasionally staring into the infinite space
through the shiny windows
everyday?

Will I survive
working in a office
like this?

Learnt

Lord Murugan
You can be in the same spot for all your life,
but when you are with different people, at different stages of your life,
you'll discover something new,
not just about others,
but more importantly,
about yourself.

And thank God for that.

Same? Different?

Kajang Satay
Sometimes,
doing the same things,
eating the same food,
or meeting up with the same people,

could mean/feel differently,
or serve as a different purpose,

when done at different times,
under different circumstances.

So I guess,
missing out on Kajang Satay all those years ago,
might not be a bad thing afterall.

Virtual life
translated into
real life.

I finally understood
the exhilaration.

Can you feel it?

I used to always come to this place
Been taking a friend around KL these days.
Somehow, realised how shallow KL appears to be for some people.

"KL = shopping only!!"
"KL = eat food lo..."
"KL = not much one la, no need so many days here!"

Coming back from a week in Vietnam, the contrast is even more pronounce.

But then,
little surprises discovered along the way,
places you revisited,
retelling the history of our country,
illustrating the culture of the locals...

You'd realised,
Kuala Lumpur is very rich afterall.

And these things,
luckily,
cannot be framed in elegant pictures,
nor displayed on tourism website.

These,
have to be felt.
